How we help
Nine specialist areas, one sensitive approach
Whatever brings you to us, your care begins with a whole body assessment and a plan built around you. Not sure where you fit? The free discovery call is exactly for that.
Pregnancy
Pregnancy asks a great deal of your body. We help with rib pain, back pain, pelvic girdle pain (sometimes called PGP or SPD) and pelvic floor concerns, and we help you prepare your body for delivery and the recovery that follows.
Post natal
The six week post natal check that you deserve: a full body assessment covering tummy muscle separation, your pelvic floor and how your body has recovered from birth, followed by a safe, staged return to strength and the exercise you love.
Incontinence
Bladder and bowel concerns are far more common than most women realise, and they respond well to specialist physiotherapy. We manage them sensitively and without embarrassment, working in partnership with GPs and other specialists where that helps you.
Prolapse
A diagnosis of pelvic organ prolapse can feel frightening. We provide clear assessment, effective treatment and honest reassurance, with exercise and practical advice that helps you stay active and confident in your body.
Menopause
Peri menopause and menopause change how your body feels and behaves. A whole body assessment lets us build tailored treatment for your symptoms, from pelvic health to strength, mobility and confidence.
Sexual pain
Conditions like vaginismus, vulvodynia and dyspareunia are real, treatable and nothing to be ashamed of. We approach them with a whole body assessment and complete sensitivity, at a pace that is always yours.
Breast cancer rehabilitation
After breast cancer treatment we help restore shoulder function, manage scar tissue and cording, and rebuild strength and stamina. We are experienced with local excisions, mastectomies, and immediate and delayed reconstructions including DIEP, TRAM and lat dorsi.
Before and after surgery
Pre hab before your operation and structured recovery afterwards, for abdominal, pelvic, gynaecological and breast surgery. We also help with lymphoedema, scar tightness, frozen shoulder and scar massage advice.
Acupuncture and dry needling
With specialist post graduate training, we use acupuncture and dry needling as an adjunct to physiotherapy for bladder, bowel and pelvic pain conditions, where the evidence and your preferences support it.
